Meet Our Leadership

John & Beth Powell
Franchise Operator
John and Beth have been living Chick-fil-A since 2000, when John was selected to become the operator of the second Chick-fil-A in the chain’s history, The Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah, GA. Savannah was home to both Beth and John and returning to familiar roots was a blessing in disguise. During the next four years they would learn to SERVE the CFA way. In 2005, The Powell family was blessed to move to Augusta, GA, where they have continued to apply the SERVANT leadership model to the guest who dine at the CFA on Washington Road.

Hey, my name is Ben Tice and my title is Talent Director. I began my experience with Chick-fil-A back in 2014 and it was my first job! After a little over a year with Chick-fil-A, I left in order to attend college at the University of Georgia, where I graduated in 2019. Some of my hobbies include playing guitar, playing and watching hockey and baseball, cheering on the Dawgs on Saturdays in the Fall, and taking care of my cat, Dwight. I’m very passionate when it comes to music, caring for others, spending time with family, and my alma mater.

Justin Benson
Grand Opening Supervisor
Hey there! I’m Justin & I’m serving as the Grand Opening consultant to support the team that will be serving the CSRA in a brand-new restaurant!
I’ve served within Chick-fil-A in various roles for over a decade. The experience has enhanced my personal & professional growth as well as allowed me to form some of the most meaningful relationships in my life; most notably, it’s where I met my wife, Abi.
We adore our sweet (sometimes) cat, Penny, enjoy traveling throughout the country, hiking & we’re BIG Harry Potter & Star Wars fans. We recently started our own exterior cleaning business & we’re grateful to still be a part of the Chick-fil-A family that’s left a legacy of impact on our lives.
